Review
Summary: Cora Crowder and Simon Derrick have their own plans for Christmas that do not include the Christmas Ball. However, the booksellers of Sage Street (and Simon’s little sister) have different plans.
Notes: I love a good Hallmark movie every once in a while, and this book is even better! I’ve read (almost) all of Donita K. Paul’s books, and this one is certainly different: There are no goblins, elves, dragons, or other such creatures. And it is in our world. That is where the differences end. For those unfamiliar with her dragon books, that information won’t matter.
Age of main character: mid to late twentys
Violence: Abuse and alcoholic issues mentioned.
Romance: Umm...yes. Hallmark style. (Still clean)
Scary themes: Besides for the afore-mentioned violence, a dysfunctional family.
Genre: Cozy Romance/Low Fantasy
