Summary: Half-dryad Ivy wants to open her own apothecary shop to serve the inhabitants of Gracehaven, from the Fable-rabbit family who owns the tailor shop to her friend Bastian the dragon shapeshifter.

Notes: I love this book! I read it because I liked Ashley Willingham's fairytale books...and this is even better! (I can't wait for the second book) Gracehaven is such a cute town with a wide variety of inhabitants: wood elves, fae, shapeshifters, fauns, talking animals, two humans, and more. The humans came to this world from ours as missionaries to share the gospel. So yes, there is a centaur who is the pastor of the Gracehaven church. (Please don't get into a theological tangle.) If you want a cozy Christian fantasy-romance read, this book is the one for you.

Age of main character: Thirty-something

Violence: A thunderstorm and a downpour. That is it.

Romance: Yes. Clean, of course, like all of Ashley Willingham's books (and all the books I will review) but rather Halmark-ish. (not that I mind!)

Scary themes: One character ignores her human heritage because all the half-human orphans are taken to the capital and she didn't want to leave Gracehaven. The orphans are adopted and treated well, she just didn't want to leave.

Genre: Cozy Romance/High Fantasy
