Review

Summary: Joshua Adams, average kid, has been asleep for fifty years. When he wakes up, the entire world has been changes as a result of nuclear warfare.

Notes: Don't let the size of these books fool you, they're great! They could easily be twice the size, but their shortness is perfect for those who are intimidated by large books. If you take these books as actually happening on our planet, you may have some issues, depending on you eschatological views. That is, your understanding of the Bible concerning the end times. There's no rapture, for example. But if you imagine it's in a different world, it will work fine. The characters regularly talk to Goel, who is God...or Jesus. He gives the Seven Sleepers different missions to help different civilizations and tell the m about Him.

Age of main character: fourteen-ish

Violence: Some, but not super descriptive

Romance: A little. One girl is a little boy-crazy.

Scary themes: Yes, mostly just a creepy villain trying to thwart the Seven Sleepers. Again, not very descriptive.

Genre: Science Fiction/Adventure
