Review
Summary: Two brothers’ journey to help a generation reclaim the teen years and do hard things.
Notes: Warning: this book is powerful! For real. The first time I read this book, I ended up doing a coat drive to send coats to Ukraine. The second time, I completed a large service project for my Abigail Adams Award for American Heritage Girls. The third time, I did my Stars and Stripes Award (also part of AHG). Each time I have read it, I end up doing some kind of large service project that I would not have dreamed of doing six months before. Life changing? Yes. Inspiring? Yes. Read it at your own risk: You just might end up doing something incredible.
This book is non-fiction and contains true stories. By the way, Alex and Brett Harris have a website. AND Brett Harris is the founder of The Author Conservatory and The Young Writer's Workshop. (Writers: check those out.)
